Demonstrating in Hartford

More than 65 members of Westport’s CLASP Homes joined 1,200 members of the private nonprofit community demonstrating at the Capitol in Hartford today seeking a cost of living increase for workers in the nonprofit sector. Tracy Flood, CLASP president, said nonprofit workers do the same work as state workers and receive 50 percent less.
