Comings and Goings: Spotted Horse Riding to Church Lane

The new restaurant on Church Lane in the preserved and renovated 1802 federal-style Sherwood House is called the Spotted Horse and will open in mid-March, according to co-owner Kevin McHugh (r). Landlord David Waldman (l) announced last July that McHugh and Tommy Febbraio, both Staples High School graduates who operate the popular Gray Goose Café in Southport, had signed a 20-year lease.
