Westports Saugatuck Congregational Church hosted its annual Thanksgiving Day dinner today with about 175 area residents sitting down to a traditional meal of turkey, mashed potatoes and stuffing.
Ricki Letowt, a Norwalk resident who oversaw the dinner preparations, said 32 turkeys were used along with 100 pounds of potatoes. The Westport Community Band was on hand to provide entertainment.
The church will host another dinner for area residents on Christmas Day.
