A Special Touchdown

WestportNow.com Image
It was a special night tonight for Dylan Curran, 16, a special needs student at Staples High School, where he is freshman football team manager. During the halftime break in a freshman home game against Greenwich, teammates gave a suited-up Dylan the football and he scored a touchdown, much to the delight of all who watched. It was a highlight for the Wreckers, who fell to Greenwich 34-13. Dylan had a similar special experience a year ago as a student at Bedford Middle School. DC is a stud! He’s also the Captain of The Westport Winners, in the Challenger Division of Westport Little League. He’s even got his own introduction: “Now batting for Westport, the Captain, number 28, Dylan, Curran. Number 28.” Awesome kid. Go DC!
