Summer Has A Home
Summer. Westport Animal Control
Summerhas been adoptedtside. She is rebounding nicely and enjoying her new-found freedom. She knows her basic commands and was housebroken very quickly. She has displayed no toy or food aggression and loves to chase the tennis ball. She is becoming socialized in regard to meeting new people but still takes a few minutes to warm up to people. However, she quickly accepts you into her circle and wants to follow you everywhere. Because of her initial shyness, we are looking for a home without small children.

Boomer Has Found A Family
Boomer. Westport Animal Control
Boomer the 2-year-old beagle has been adopted He’s a sweet little fellow that is rebounding nicely after being abandoned in a parking lot in Westport. He is affectionate and is enjoying all the attention he is receiving from staff and volunteers. While you can’t see it in the photo, Boomer has a condition called micro-ophthalmia of his left eye diagnosed at his recent trip to Schulhof Animal Hospital in Westport. He may or may not have any eye tissue on his left side but it will be “cleaned out” and surgically sealed at the time of his neutering surgery which will be funded by Westport Animal Shelter Advocates (WASA). Boomer does appear to get along well with other dogs. Clearly this young fellow hasn’t had the best start in life but he is ready for a new, loving and forever home - and we’re ready to help him find it!
Milo and Molly Have been adopted
Milo and Molly were adopted! While they are very bonded with each other (and need to be adopted together) they bond very nicely - and quickly - with those that show them attention. They are very affectionate and lovable. Both walk nicely on their leashes and are housebroken. We hope they find their forever home - one filled with comfy pillows and beds for lounging - very soon. Both are spayed/neutered and up to date on their vet care

Cali Found A Forever Family
Cali. Westport Animal Control
Cali, not to be confused with the Cali that just won the Westport’s Top Dog contest, is a new resident of Westport Animal Control (Elaine Road, Westport, 203-341-5076). She is a very sweet little mixed breed pup (approximately 9 months of age) that is heartbroken at finding herself abandoned in a shelter. We are giving her lots of love, exercise and good food but she really wants a forever family. Although small, she is an active girl that loves to run and fetch. She is VERY housebroken too. Please call soon to meet our lovely golden Cali.

Sweet Giselle Found A Home
Giselle. Wesport Animal Control
Giselle is a lovely 8-week-old female kitten that crawled her way into a car in Westport to find warmth.
The car was dismantled to free her, and this sweet girl is now in foster care where she is adored by her foster dad and his two pugs. She is up-to-date on her kitten vet care.
Georgie Has Been Adopted
Georgie has been adopted by the SARAH Rescue Sanctuary (http://sarahandicaps.org/), an organization that provides a home setting for special needs dogs. Georgie, while receiving excellent and ongoing vet care, will be part of a family and receive lots of love from not only his new human family but a family consisting of a variety of new canine buddies that, like him, need some extra attention and care. Georgie is a happy pup because he really enjoys the company of other dogs. Here is Georgie with his new mom Nancy.
