The Westport Police Department, partnering with Positive Directions and the Teen Awareness Group (TAG), has placed a permanent drug drop container in the police headquarters front lobby at 50 Jesup Road. “The Westport Police Department recognized the need for a permanent prescription drug container after participating in the Drug Take Back programs over the last several years,” said Capt. Sam Arciola. “The drug drop container will allow residents to dispose of potentially dangerous expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs in a safe and environmentally responsible way.” Pictured are those involved in the project: Liza Barion, Grace Wynne, Lulu Stracher, Ian Goldman, Graycyn Levenson, Noa Wind, Jack Marsilio, Katy Twombly, Jenna McNicholas, Carly Kobylinsky, Daisy Laska, Claudia Boland, Gabbie Leblanc (holding plaque), Zoe Brown, Lauren Lanham of Positive Directions (also holding plaque), Chris Lemone (TAG Advisor) Capt.
