The Portman family of Westport was on their boat today about four miles off Saugatuck Harbor and came upon this pod of dolphins, about 50 in all, including several calves. “They seemed to be feeding, but also were jumping in the waves,” said Larry Portman. “At times, they were just yards from our boat. Vintage Cadillac Stars in Pakistani Film Scene in Westport

WestportNow.com Image
A vintage Cadillac tonight starred in a scene for a Pakistani feature film, “Dobara Phir Se” (“And Then Again”), filmed on the William F. Cribari Bridge in Westport. Director Mehreen Jabbar said Westport was selected for a scene in the film in which a divorced Pakistani woman, living in New York, visits her estranged mother-in-law who lives in an upscale Connecticut suburb. She said the bridge was selected because of its uniqueness “It’s quaint and small and surrounded by water,” she said. “It provides an ideal backdrop in the film for an entrance to a beautiful town.” (CLICK TO ENLARGE) Dave Matlow for WestportNow.com
