The final suspect in the July 2 armed robbery of TD Bank on Post Road East was extradited from Brooklyn, N.Y. and is scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court Thursday, Westport Police Capt. Vincent Penna said today.
Penna said detectives took Derrick D. Gilliam, 27, of 144 Golden Hill St., Bridgeport into custody in Brooklyn Supreme Court. Gilliam had been held in Brooklyn since his July 4 arrest as a fugitive from justice pending extradition, which Gilliam did not oppose.
Charged with first-degree robbery, first-degree conspiracy to commit robbery, third-degree larceny and third-degree conspiracy to commit larceny, Gilliam is being held in lieu of a $250,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on Thursday, July 31. Another court appearance is scheduled for Aug. 8.
Two other suspects were arrested earlier this month – Anthony Santiago, 20, and Lancelot Supersad, 19, both of Bridgeport.
