The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CDOT) said state Route 136, also known as Compo Road North, will undergo 1.29 miles of resurfacing from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Wednesday, May 28 through Saturday, May 31.
Motorists can expect lane closures from Route 1 (Post Road East) to Route 57 (Main Street), an announcement said.
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions, CDOT said. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
