Westport Native Sings Blues at Library

Heather Hardy, a Westport native who is a gifted electric blues violinist, songwriter and vocalist, performed at the Westport Public library today with fellow musician T. J. Swan. Though classically trained, she has pursued her love of improvisation as a blues performer since the early 1990s and leads her band Lil Mama.The 1983 Staples graduate is daughter of Neil and Judy Hardy, who were among family and friends in the audience.
