Rollover Closes Imperial Avenue

UPDATE A one-car rollover involving an SUV closed Westport’s Imperial Avenue between Baker Avenue and Thomas Road late today. Assistant Fire Chief Michael Kronick said only the driver was in the car and extrication was required. The driver was transported to Norwalk Hospital by Westport EMS with minor injuries, he said. 25 mph speed limit on that section of Imperial.  I didn’t realize that a Lexus was that unstable that it couldn’t negotiate those curves.
