Sal Gilbertie, owner of Gilbertie’s Herb Garden in Westport and Gilbertie’s Wholesale Farm in Easton, was on hand throughout the day today at Wakeman Town Farm to help customers choose from assorted Fraser Firs and an array of wreaths. The trees were so popular that Gilbertie had to make several trips to Easton to replenish the stock, said Mike Aitkenhead, steward of Wakeman Town Farm.
