Jeffrey Susa: turns himself into police. Westport Police photo

Jeffrey Susa turned himself into police Friday after learning there was an active warrant for his arrest following a month-long investigation by the Westport Police Detective Bureau Youth Division, said Detective Sgt. Jillian Cabana.

She said the charge of sexual assault second degree stems from an incident that took place on his boat on Aug. 23 in the Longshore Marina in which Susa allegedly sexually assaulted the teen who was in his employment after providing her alcohol.

Susa, who operates a business serving boaters at the marina with mooring and transit needs, was released after posting $100,000 bond, police said. He is scheduled to be arraigned in Stamford Superior court on Friday.
