Now Appearing: Two New Board Members
Westporter Adam Clemens was one of two members recently elected to the Westport Country Playhouse’s Board of Trustees, Playhouse officials announced today.
Clemens is a managing director of Portfolio Advisors in Darien and serves as a voting member of the firm’s investment committee.
The other new member is Carole Hochman, chairman and chief creative officer of the Carole Hochman Design Group, headquartered in New York City.
Prior to coming to Portfolio Advisors in 2010, Clemens was co-founder and president of New York Life Capital Partners, manager of alternative assets for New York Life Insurance Company and third-party investors with $7 billion in assets, according to Pat Blaufuss, Playhouse spokeswoman.
Hochman, whom Blaufuss described as an industry pioneer, has designed intimate apparel for more than 30 years. Her interest in lingerie began during her fashion studies at Drexel University, inspired by her work in Bergdorf Goodman’s lingerie department.
