Multi-Vehicle Accident Stalls Merritt

A multi-vehicle accident stalled traffic tonight on the Merritt Parkway between Exits 42 in Westport and 44 in Fairfield, according to reports from the scene.

Both the northbound and southbound sides were blocked as at least one vehicle involved in a multi-car accident rolled over across the median into oncoming traffic.

Both Westport and Fairfield fire units were responding.
