Lights, Camera, Action at Westport Historical Society

WestportNow.com Image
Well known Westport chef Michel Nischan and Sissy Biggers, co-host of the “Home Grown” PBS TV series, were taped this morning at the Octagonal Barn on the grounds of the Westport Historical Society. The segment will air in “Victory Garden,” a series scheduled for showing in January about the value of fresh vegetables. It is the first gardening program that will be aired in the Home Grown series, now in its 32nd season. The root cellar in the Octagonal Barn was the attraction to the Westport site for the taping.
