Honoring the Newtown Victims
![]()
The Westport Town Clerk’s office assembled a candle memorial and had a moment of silence at 9:30 a.m. today in memory of the victims of the Sandy Hook Elemetary School tragedy. The office lights were dimmed and
names of each person were read out loud. As church bells rang, the Fire Department also broadcast on its department radio 26 strikes of a fire bell in honor of the victims. Contributed photo
