Homes With Hope Gets $5,000 Slice of Saugatuck Donation

Matthew Mandell (2nd r.)  founder of the Slice of Saugatuck street fair and a member of Westport’s Representative Town Meeting, today presented a check for $5,000 to Jeff Weiser (l), head of Homes with Hope for its Gillespie Center food pantry. The funds were raised during last month’s second annual Slice of Saugatuck Festival. Joining them in the presentation in front of Tarry Lodge, one of the participating restaurants, were representatives of the Westport Weston Chamber of Commerce and other participants and supporters of the festival.
