Help Urged for Local Merchant

A sign went up on the window of Great Cakes, 772 Post Road East, today urging customers to open a pre-paid account to prevent the store’s closing for financial reasons. Westporter Anne Levine said she got into a long line and opened an account with $100. “While in line, I had tears in my eyes,” she said. “I felt the energy of everyone in line who were there to help a local businessman whose business was under financial stress.” (CLICK TO ENLARGE) Dave Matlow for WestportNow.com
