Installation was under way today at the Westport Arts Center for its newest exhibit, “William Wegman: The Traveler,” opening Friday with a 6 p.m. reception. The exhibit features an eclectic mix of postcard paintings, drawings, Polaroids, and video, illustrating Wegman’s career-long incorporation of found images. Works date from the mid-1980s to new paintings on view for the first time.  Placing the works were Helen Kisser During, director of visual arts, and Tom Reilly, art handler/artist.
