Representatives of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) were out around Westport today checking on storm-damaged homes. Melissa Roussos, community relations specialist, was going door to door in the Old Mill Beach and Sherwood Pond Preserve area. Home and business owners need to register with FEMA to qualify for disaster aid. Go to http://www.disasterassistance.gov, or call (800)621-3362. (CLICK TO ENLARGE) Phyllis Groner for WestportNow.com
