The Westport downtown pizza scene is about to undergo another major change with the planned opening of Eatalia at 143 Post Road East. It is the former location of Joe’s Pizza which relocated in June to 190 Main St. in the Main Street Commons shopping strip. The building at 143 Post Road East is owned by Mel Mioli, owner of Westport Pizzeria at 107 Main St., one of the street’s icons for the past 43 years.  According to a worker at Westport Pizzeria, the owners of Eatalia are from Greenwich.
