These Purple Martin nestlings were found during a recent check of the Purple Martin gourd housing near the Nature Center at Sherwood Island State Park. “Purple Martins are a reality at the Park due to the help, support, and generosity of Milan Bull, senior director of science and conservation at the Connecticut Audubon Society,” said Tina Green of Westport, an avid bird watcher, who found the nestlings. It’s Miley Cyrus, but in this instance, it’s Milan Bull :) Milan’s a guy, fwiw, who knows just about everything, too.
