Stuck Bridge Disrupts New Haven Line Service
UPDATE A stuck bridge near South Norwalk disrupted New Haven Line service today for more than five hours..

Metro-North said the Walk Bridge near South Norwalk failed to close in the early morning hours and crews did not repair it until about 9 a.m.
“We are currently unable to provide eastbound train service from Stamford,” Metro-North said in a statement. “Limited westbound train service is being provided from South Norwalk. Limited Shuttle Bus Service is currently being provided between East Norwalk and South Norwalk.
“Customers should anticipate delays and crowded conditions.”

Ho-hum, just another day riding MetroNorth for all of us sucker commuters.
Of course we take solace in the fact that MetroNorth ‘...is incredibly sorry for any inconvenienceâ€¦’, just as they were last week and as they will be next week, and the week after that, etc., etcâ€¦.blah, f**king blah…
