Staples Drunk Driving ‘Victims’ Posted on Grim Reaper Day

WestportNow.com Image
As part of today’s Grim Reaper Day activities at Westport’s Staples High School, pictures of “victims” killed in drunk driving accidents were posted for all to see. The Teen Awareness Group (TAG)  organized the 11th annual event to raise student awareness of the statistic that someone in the United States is killed in an alcohol-related automobile accident every 53 minutes. The drunk driving awareness event is strategically held during prom and graduation period. (CLICK TO ENLARGE) Jaime Bairaktaris for WestportNow.com

Good photo Jaime.  This is an important program that’s being done whose impact I hope isn’t lost on the students.  If it saves one life, then it’s 100% effective.

Great job!
