The nation’s largest long-term care provider association elected Russ at its annual convention and expo which concluded Wednesday in Phoenix, Ariz. It represents 1.5 million elderly and disabled patients across the country in addition to more than 10,000 care providers.
Russ, who has served on the board for seven years, is the principal partner of Bayberry Health in New Rochelle, N.Y., and co-owns Aaron Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation in Rochester, N.Y.
With his background as a small operator — Bayberry and Aaron Manor together have about 220 beds — Russ represents a shift from Neil Pruitt Jr., his predecessor. Pruitt is chairman and CEO of PruittHealth, which is a large Georgia-based chain.

I know the tremendous commitment of time and energy that Len has made to lead this organization. There are momentous changes underway in how we deliver health care services to our elderly and disabled and the AHCA has chosen wisely in having Len at the helm during this critical period. Best of luck! Ken Wirfel.
Just saw this. Congratulations! I can imagine what a challenging responsibility this is given the tidal wave of health care changes. Now we’ll know whom to tap into with Baron’s South questions! :) Best of luck to you and Linda.
