Joseloff Orders Partial Activation of EOC

Westport First Selectman Gordon Joseloff ordered partial activation of the town’s Emergency Operations Center as of 9:45 a.m. today.

He also ordered all town offices closed at noon because of the storm.

All Westport snow plows were out plowing and sanding, according to the town website, and residents were urged to stay off the road if at all possible.

The Westport schools, one of the few districts to open today, announced early dismissals beginning with Staples High School at 11:45 a.m.
