A news conference was held at Staples High School today at which seven Wrecker teammates gathered for National Letter of Intent Day—the day players commit to play football at the college level this fall. “I’m so proud of where they’re going,” said Coach (Marce Petroccio (l). “I’m so proud of what they’ve done here. It’s hard to let go. They’re such a special, special group.” Pictured (l-r) with the name of their schools: Nick Kelly (Amherst); Kevin Kearney (Bowdoin); Pieter Hoets (Trinity); Will Patrick (Tufts); Joey Zelkowitz (Middlebury); James Frusciante (Princeton), and Kyle Vaughn (Fordham).
