Comings & Goings: Pinkberry Debuts on Post Road East

Just in time for the coldest weather Westport has seen in three years, Pinkberry, a yogurt retailer, has opened at 111 Post Road East. Its website describes the franchise as “an innovative yogurt retailer that launched in West Hollywood, Calif. in 2005. Today, with more than 200 stores worldwide, Pinkberry is one of the world’s fastest growing global retail brands and continues to lead the category.” The Westport franchise owner is Jamie Karson, a former senior executive of the Steve Madden women’s footwear company, who also owns Pinkberry stores in Fairfield and Greenwich and also plans to open one in New Haven, according to real estate broker Franco Fellah, who negotiated the lease.
