Artist William Wegman Welcomes Arts Center Guests

Artist William Wegman addresses an opening reception audience tonight at the Westport Arts Center which is presenting its newest exhibit, “William Wegman: The Traveler.” The exhibit features an eclectic mix of postcard paintings, drawings, Polaroids, and video, illustrating Wegman’s career-long incorporation of found images. Works date from the mid-1980s to new paintings on view for the first time. With him is the exhibit curator, Helen Klisser During, director of visual arts at the Arts Center.
