Longtime Westport artist Roe Halper brought many samples of her work today to show children at the Westport Historical Society workshop marking Martin Luther King Day. She also showed them a photo of herself with Coretta King as she visited the Kings in Atlanta. She met King when he spoke at Westport’s Temple Israel in 1964.
