Celebrating the Jazz Age
![]()
Writer, educator and jazz historian Todd Bryant Weeks talked about the Jazz Age tonight at the Westport Public Library as part of its WestportREADS month-long examination of “The Great Gatsby” by F. Scott Fitzgerald. A graduate of Westport’s Staples High School, Weeks celebrated jazz with examples and stories that demonstrated his love for the music. He also urged the audience to support music and musicians because of funds in many areas being cut for the arts. (CLICK TO ENLARGE) Phyllis Groner for WestportNow.com
