Getting Ready for First NIght

Among those preparing today for Westport’s First Night tonight was Fairfield resident Jeffrey Pressler, owner of J&D Kettled Corn, who was setting up on Jesup Green. “This is my seventh time at First Night and that includes the night it was canceled because of heavy snow,” he said. Festivities begin at 4 p.m. with an antique car parade across the Ruth Steinkraus Cohen Bridge and conclude at 10:30 p.m.  with a laser show over the Saugatuck River.
