After months of preparation, organizers from Westport’s Unitarian Church tonight succeeded in their quest to set a world record for caroling at Compo Beach. Representatives of Guinness World Records were on hand to certify that 502 took part in 90 minutes of caroling at 14 homes. Erik Paul, Weston High music director, led the caroling.
