![]()
UPDATE A truck knocked over a fire hydrant today near Westport’s 27 Wilton Road causing rapid flooding and closure of Wilton Road. The incident occurred during the morning rush hour and Wilton Road remained closed into late afternoon between Post Road West and Kings Highway North. The sub-freezing temperatures caused the water to freeze while utility crews were en route to the scene. (CLICK TO ENLARGE) Dave Matlow for WestportNow.com
