Sharing the Pie

Today is pickup day at Westport’s Conservative Synagogue for the Share the Pie charitable program supporting Homes With Hope. Co-chairs Donna Hyman (l) and Jennifer Kanfer said 630 pies sold were acquired from Fairway and Zucker Bakery in Long Island.  Hyman said that one-half of the revenues are donated to Homes with Hope and the remaining half distributed to Storm Sandy victims and the congregation’s social action programs. She said 150 of the pies are donated to others in need. The pie selections were pumpkin, apple and pecan. (CLICK TO ENLARGE) Dave Matlow for WestportNow.com
