The burned remains of a car which burst into flames today on the Merritt Parkway just north of Exit 42 in Westport. Two cars were involved in the crash which the drivers—both unhurt—said was caused by a coyote in the roadway Following the crash, the driver of this car asked firefighters to see if a wallet in the glove compartment could be retrieved. It was found intact, said Deputy Chief Robert Kepchar. He said it contained $1,000 in cash and credit cards. (CLICK TO ENLARGE) Contributed photo
