UPDATE Westport’s Bridge Street at the William F. Cribari Memorial Bridge was closed for a short time just before 2 p.m. today due to the bridge being unable to open to let a vessel through. Workers were unable to open the bridge for an unexplained reason and reopened the roadway for traffic. (CLICK TO ENLARGE) Bob Eckman for WestportNow.com
