The National Weather Service has continued a Flash Flood Watch for Westport and area until 2 p.m. today.
An advisory said showers, heavy at times, are expected from this morning until early this afternoon.
Rainfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour are likely during the periods of heaviest rain. Rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches and locally over 3 inches are possible.
Meanwhile, a Coastal Flood Advisory is in effect from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. with tidal departures around 1 foot above astronomical tides.
