Striping a Commuter Lot

WestportNow.com Image
Town of Westport Public Works employee Steve Marsan today restripes a parking lot at the Metro-North Saugatuck station, part of a facelift to the commuter lots at the station. According to Westport Police Deputy Chief Foti Koskinas, the painted lines in the parking lot are being restriped, potholes repaired, and catch basins cleaned to address the frequent flooding of Lot No. 1, across from the former Blu Parrot restaurant. Police Officer Mark Pocius said the work is being done each Saturday in August to minimize disruption of commuter parking needs.  (CLICK TO ENLARGE) Dave Matlow for WestportNow.com
