A summary of ideas gleaned from the Your Downtown online citizen survey and two June visioning workshops sponsored by the Downtown Steering Committee (DSC) will be presented Monday, July 21, at 7:30 p.m. in the Town Hall auditorium, Westport First Selectman Jim Marpe announced today.
He said that since the online survey was launched, more than 2,900 residents have shared their thoughts in addition to about 170 persons having attended the visioning workshops.
Marpe added that residents who would still like to contribute their idea can do so at http://www.downtownwestportct.com until Sunday.
The RBA Group, Inc., hired to develop the master plan with town input, will lead the July 21 presentation, after which the Westport Downtown Merchants’ Association (WDMA) and the Youth Commission will share the results of their own independently conducted surveys.
