The National Weather Service has issued a Coastal Flood Statement for Westport and area warning of tidal departures of 2 to 2.5 feet above astronomical tide.
High tide is at 10:06 a.m. and 10:28 p.m. today.
The Weather Service said there will be localized flooding of the most vulnerable shore roads and/or basements due to height of storm tide and wave splash over.
Majority of roads will remain passable, it said, and there is no significant threat to life and any impact on property is minimal.
