Winter Weather Advisory Issued
UPDATE The National Weather Service in Upton, N.Y. has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Westport and area for snow which is in effect to noon Friday.
Meanwhile, a Wind Advisory and Coastal Flood Advisory remain in effect.
The Weather Service said snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches are expected tonight through Thursday with an additional 2 to 3 inches possible Thursday night and Friday.
Total accumulations of 3 to 6 inches are expected by Friday, the advisory said. Temperatures will range from the upper 20s to the mid 30s.
