With each week, there is more evidence of strong gains for the real estate market.
The latest is the most recent S&P Case-Shiller Home Price Indices report. The national composite showed an increase of 7.3 percent for 2012.
The 10- and 20-City Composites reported annual gains of 5.9 percent and 6.8 percent respectively in 2012.
“Home prices ended 2012 with solid gains,” said David M. Blitzer, chairman of the S&P Case-Shiller Index Committee.
