Prince Michael Is An Indoor Cat

Prince Michael
Prince Michael. Connecticut Humane Society

Meet Prince Michael! This young man is possibly one of the most affectionate and loving cats you’ll ever meet! He absolutely enjoys being petted and will not only tell you he wants you to pet him, but will head butt your hands and legs so that you will cater to him. His experience with children is unknown but it is possible that he would enjoy the company of children who will shower him with tons of love and play time. Prince Michael is FIV positive and MUST—for his safety and the safety of other cats—remain an indoor cat. He can ONLY live with cats who are also FIV positive and would prefer a home without dogs. Lastly, Prince Michael is litter box trained. If you would like to meet this fearless and extremely friendly young man, please come down to the Westport Branch of the Connecticut Humane Society to do so!

Bentley Needs A Home

Bentley
Bentley. Westport Animal Control

Bentley is a 7-year-old neutered yorkie residing at Westport Animal Control (Elaine Road, Westport, CT 203-341-5076).  He’s a fine and affectionate little guy that gets along well with other dogs – particularly those close to his size – that is looking for a new home where he will not be left for prolonged periods of time.  Bentley likes going for walks and is definitely a dog that benefits from daily exercise.  He may have anxiety issues that would not make him a candidate for a home with small children.  Please call soon to schedule a time to meet him.

Lexus Needs Another Home

Lexus
Lexus. Save Our Strays Inc.
Lexus is a sweet, 2 year old, male tabby cat who seems to be pretty mellow. He has beautiful bright yellow eyes and perfect tabby markings. Lexus is neutered and up to date on all shots. He really deserves a loving home so please come in to meet him!

UPDATE: Lexus recently went to a foster home. Unfortunately the family was hoping that one of the family members who was allergic to cats was now better and they were not so Lexus had to come back to the shelter, they said this. “...I want to make sure you all know is that Lexus (or “Lex” or “Lexi” as the family has already taken to calling him) is an amazing cat. ...He is brave, curious, affectionate - we are calling him the quintessential cat. After a couple of hours of chilling out on his own, getting accustomed to the noises and quirks of our household, he ventured out and about to check out the family & the environment. He started coming up to us, looking to curl up on lap or otherwise nearby one of us, sought after petting, etc. He started chatting with us by late last night as well, meowing away (not too much at all, just occasionally enough to let you know he’s nearby). He loves exploring, and had a great time finding closets and bookcases, among other little nooks and crannies. He did wonderfully with the kids - allowing petting, not getting scared by some classic loud little boy banging (curious & cautious, but not scared), and when he had enough, he simply left - no aggression in the slightest. He took to the litter box without a qualm, communicated with us when he was hungry - he really is the perfect cat. I hope a family without the allergies we have in this household shows up looking for a perfect cat - and finds Lex.”
