Kitty Shadow is Looking For Her Forever Family

Shadow is a 14 year old grey and white domestic short haired kitty. She is an extraordinarily sweet girl who deserves the best home. Shadow loves to hug. If you pick her up she immediately starts purring and puts her arms on your shoulder, tucking her head underneath your chin. She’s fully litter box trained and up to date on all vaccines. She does have some special medical needs and our staff would be happy to discuss this with anyone interested in adopting her. Cockapoo Brandi Wants to Cuddle with You

Brandi is an 8-month-old cockapoo that was brought to Westport Animal Control (203-341-5076) after found wandering around Westport. While initially a little shy, she quickly warms up and finds her way into your lap and is happy to stay there as long as you’ll have her. She appears to be recently groomed and appears very healthy. Lucy is a 3 1/2 years old Australian cattle dog mix. This jolly girl is a true herder and would do best in a home with teenagers and adults who enjoy being active. Lucy would love to live with a family that enjoys jogging, hiking or other outdoor activities. She seems to get along well with other dogs the same size as her (although she does try to herd them). Taz and Tyson are a couple of goofy bully breeds. Taz is a black and white pit bull mix who is about 3 years old and came to CHS from a local Animal Control facility. Tyson is a tan pit bull mix who is about 6 1/2 years and came to CHS when his owners moved and didn’t bring him along. Although they didn’t come in together, they’ve become great friends and love to play together in our doggie playpen. Taz is a young active boy who would love to live in a home with teenagers and adults. He’s a good mix of activity (would love to go jogging with his new family) and couch potato (his favorite thing to do is flop down in the grass and try to crawl into your lap). Tyson would love a home with teenagers and adults who enjoy a leisurely stroll around the block and lots of cuddling time. Whisky Needs a New Family to Love
Whisky. Westport Animal ControlWhisky is a 1- to 2-year-old border collie mix that was surrendered to a high kill facility because her family was experiencing financial difficulties. She was rescued by a WASA volunteer. She knows all of her basic commands and is housebroken. Chelsea is a sweet one-year-old pointer mix that was brought to Westport Animal Control (203-341-5076) by a Good Samaritan after she was spotted running along I-95. She willingly jumped into the car and took a little snooze while being transported to her new and safe accommodations. She is a beautiful dog with a great temperament and is good with other dogs. Jenny, a sweet name for a sweet dog. Jenny is a new resident of Westport Animal Control (203-341-5076), and we are pleased to have her as a new resident after she was left tied to the doorknob of a local shelter. Jenny is a staffie-boxer mix approximately 7 months old. She gets along well with other dogs, and we also feel she would do okay with cats.
