The four-acre property at 106 Beachside Ave. was listed in 2005 and 2009 for $30 million, in 2011 for $24.95 million, and the most recent price was set at $19.9 million. The town’s tax assessor appraised it at $13.5 million.
Town Clerk Patricia Strauss said the sale was recorded Thursday with the buyer listed as Flying Dutchman Investeringen Limited with a post office box address in St. Peter Port on the Isle of Guernsey, a British Crown dependency in the English Channel off the coast of Normandy.
The estate has a 10,000-square-foot Georgian Revival-style main house with six bedrooms, a guest house and a gatehouse. It also has 215 feet of sandy beach frontage.
