Storm Outages Finally Ended
UPDATE While most Westporters who lost power early Thursday in an overnight wind and rain storm had it back this morning, outages persisted until tonight for some.
At 10:15 p.m., Connecticut Light and Power Company said none of its Westport customers was still in the dark, making good on a revised projection that restoration would be “substantially complete” by 10 p.m.
It had earlier said it hoped to restore most of the remaining outages in Westport by noon today.
As many as 4,500 Westport customers, or 36 percent, were out after the storm.
