‘Shadowing’ a State Senator at the Capitol
![]()
Cole DeMonico (2nd r), a senior at Westport’s Staples High School who has been accepted to George Washington University in the fall, was guest today in Hartford of state Sen. Toni Boucher (r). He “shadowed” her at the State Capitol as she said she “flew through four committees and one press conference.” She said Cole was able to observe her as she chaired the Subcommittee for Schools Safety and Security that competed its work today. At left is state Rep. Tim LeGeyt, a ranking member of the Higher Education Committee, and his student guest. (CLICK TO ENLARGE) Contributed photo
