Playhouse Gala Marks 80th Anniversary

The Westport Country Playhouse gala tonight celebrating its 80th anniversary attracted many patrons of the arts. They were entertained with a performance entitled “An Enchanted Evening – The Music of Richard Rodgers” that included appearances by composers Stephen Sondheim and Mary Rodgers Guettel, daughter of the late Richard Rodgers, who served as interns at the Playhouse in the 1950s.
